What is Sweets Festival?
Do you love sweets? If you answered “yes”, this is the festival for you. If you answered “no”, please proceed to the Bacon Festival website. Sweets Festival is a variety of sweets in one place for you to indulge and try. We want to transport you to a “journey through of Candy Land”. Visit Cupcake Commons, try Lollipop Forrest and get ready to savor caramels, cakes, chocolates and everything in between. Plus we have a few savory food trucks to keep you balanced. Cocktails for adults, classes, interactive booths, bouncers, rock wall, rides and more.

When, where and what time do you need to arrive?
February 15, 2020 11am-4pm. Arrive any time between those hours, stay all day.

What is the cost?
General Admission is $7 online or $10 at the door for ages 11 and up. General Admission includes entrance into the Festival including the Family Shake Shack. General Admission does not include food, drinks or bouncers , carnival games etc. Alcohol Beverages tickets and games and rides tickets can be purchased inside.
Are there attractions?
Yes, games, candy land fun, bounce houses, interactive photo opportunities, a shake shack for dancing and community stage. Plus carnival games and sweets galore. Each attraction is separate. A cookie decorating class, pie eating contest, donut eating contest, cake walk and other interactive booths and displays will be on hand. Parents/Adults: Don't miss the fun cocktails and Donuts and Drafts area.
What is in the kids zone ?
Bouncers, rides and carnival games. Wristbands or Individual Tickets are available. Trackless Train, Slides, Boucners, Obstacles, Spin Ride. Something for all ages
Is this a cash only event?
We will have an ATM on site and can accept CC with a convenience fee. Most food vendors DO accept Cash or Credit Card.
Is this event indoors or outdoors?
This is an outdoor event. Rain or Shine.
What can we bring?
There is no outside food or drink permitted. All bags will be checked. No backpacks, water bottles, camelpacks will be permitted. Lawn chairs, handheld umbrellas and blankets are permitted. No aerosol sunscreen. Nothing larger than a 12x12 bag will be permitted inside. There is no smoking permitted at the event or on city property.
Where do I park?
Any of the designated areas around the park. Parking is free and easy. Enter off of Civic Center Drive on either Warner or Gilbert Road. Entrance is on the north/west end of the event.
Am I allowed to leave and re-enter?
Re-entry is not permitted.
Will there be alcohol beverages?
Yes, and a portion of the proceeds benefit Foster Arizona. Beer, wine and sweet cocktail concoctions. Enjoy the Donuts and Drafts pairing.
What can I expect?
A variety of tasty sweet treats. There are freak shakes, fudge, caramels, funnel cakes, cupcakes, cookie dough, cookies and more. Expect a unique variety. There are gluten free and diet restricted food offered by vendors. Each between $2 and $14 from vendors across the state. You can even take some sweets treats home with you. Treats and attractions are separate and vary by vendor. There will also be savory food trucks for your lunch needs . These include Chicken, hot dogs and Mediterranean.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes, dogs on a leash are permitted. You are responsible for picking up after your dog.
What items should I bring?
Blankets or Lawn chairs are highly recommend. Bring cash and your sweet tooth. Hand held umbrellas and strollers are permitted. No large structure or canopies. One closed water bottle is permitted.
